Unruly started as an online women’s boutique mid-pandemic in 2020. I graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Apparel & Textile Marketing, and a minor in Business Administration. I always knew I wanted to open an online store but thought that I wanted to get some industry experience first. Immediately following graduation in May, I moved straight to Dallas to try and pursue a job in the fashion industry in a bigger city.

I quickly realized that a 9-5 job was definitely not for me and it was time to make some moves. I had an opportunity to work for a smaller fashion company as an intern and ended up learning a lot of what went on behind the scenes and slowly started to become more confident in my abilities to go out on my own. With all of the free time from quarantine and unemployment, I slowly started pulling ideas together and creating my brand. Even though this was a huge leap of faith, I had so much support from all my friends and family that kept motivating me and believing in me. I could have never done it without them and I’m so excited to be able to finally share my style and passions with you!
